Candle-making is a creative endeavor that helps me unwind and provides a sense of achievement. It also brings to mind the Bible verse about Him being a light to my path. Even when the world seems dark, we can always turn to the LIGHT.

TIPS

Always use paraffin wax for making candles in molds. The paraffin wax is harder and keeps its shape. Soy wax is too soft for molds and is great for making candles in containers. You can also mix soy and paraffin wax to create a candle in a container. This will reduce the wet spots in the soy wax candle, as shown below.
